Australian Made KChlor Chlorinators have proven to be of exceptionally high quality many times over. Because of this, the manufacturer, Kawana Chlorinator Spares, decided to increase the warranty on all models of KChlor Digital Series Pool Chlorinators.
You can read the full details on our blog post titled kchlor-increased-pool-chlorinator-warranty but the main thing to take note of was the increase from 4 years to 5 years on both the pool chlorinator unit and the cell. Owners now get 5 years on the power pack and 5 years or 10,000 hours (whichever comes first) on the cell electrode.
Although this decision has been well received, as it proves how much faith the manufacturer has in thier own products, they made one small oversight, namely the updating of the instructions to reflect the now increased warranty period.

Which KChlor Pool Chlorinator is best for you?
It depends on the size of your pool. To calculate how many litres are in your pool simply multiply the length by the width and then the average depth (depth at the deep end plus depth at the shallow end divided by 2).
Even if your pool is not rectangular in shape, this is still a good way to measure it, as it is always a good idea to overestimate the pool size anyway, so the chlorinator you choose does not have to work too hard to maintain it. Therefore any curves in the pool can be ignored.
